One of my favorite ways to decorate around our home is by including my children's artwork. Their work is unique, beautiful, and makes them feel proud seeing it displayed for all to see! I always look forward to the end of the school year because it means that my kids bring home their art folders that include everything they have worked on throughout their school year.
If you like adding character, playfulness, and splashes of color in your home than I think you'll enjoy these fun ways to display your children's artwork around the home.
1. The Playroom
This is where we spend most of our time and it's also the most colorful room in our home. The large windows, openness, and color makes this room one giant ball of happiness, don't you think? I love finding little nooks to add their creations into and using washi tape and frames to decorate the walls.
2. Family Room Shelf
Sometimes my kids bring home art that is fragile, like clay or seashells for example. Things like this usually end up in our family room shelves. It's a safe place for them to be!
3. The Kitchen
Every morning I start my day by turning on the coffee machine and seeing kids artwork taped to our pantry doors and around the window. There are no rules here, just a bunch of sweet and colorful art that I get to see every single morning. It brings a smile to my face!
Displaying your children's art around the home doesn't have to be messy. You can easily tie their work in with your decor by purchasing matching frames and finding a designated art area. Washi tape and thrifted frames are also a great way to add in extra character.
